Miniature hand painting is a centuries old art form in India, and to some in Jodhpur, it is still a way of life. This way of life is on full display at the Ajit Bhawan Palace Hotel, where talented local artists create stunning works of art, carrying on a beautiful tradition.
Miniature hand paintings are sought the world over for their intricate details, sometimes too small to see without the help of a magnifying glass. Today, most of the artworks find their medium in aged paper, but objects made out of wood or bone are used as canvases for the delicate paintings.
